Amy has been in dentistry for a little over 18 years. She began her dental career as a receptionist and found that her passion is in dentistry and helping patients make a difference in their lives and love their smile again. She was trained to be an office manager shortly after beginning her career, and then began cross-training to assist and help where needed. She loves learning anything she can about dentistry and how to help run a successful dental practice. Amy received her American Association of Dental Management (AADOM) fellowship in 2019, and in 2022 earned her AADOM Masters designation (MAADOM). She joined our team in 2020 and remained with us when Dr. Rose took over in 2022.
Amy loves spending time with her family and going fishing, camping and doing crafts.
Shannon graduated from the College of Central Florida’s dental assisting program in 2002 and joined our practice in October 2008. She became a Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) certified assistant in 2018 and has also completed certifications in infection control and radiation. Shannon is an active member of the American Dental Assistant Association (ADAA).
Shannon enjoys being part of a practice that is all about providing the best possible care for our patients’ overall health and a team that looks at each other as family and treats patients as if they are part of that family. Shannon strives to provide her patients with a warm smiling and a caring heart to hopefully make their appointment a pleasant dental experience.
Shannon is a local girl, born and raised in Chiefland, and she enjoys working in her hometown.
With over a decade of experience, Devon’s favorite part of her job is changing smiles and lives! She genuinely loves helping people and educating them about their oral health during their visits. She is from Southwest Florida where she worked as an expanded duties dental assistant for 10 years before going to school at Santa Fe College to become a dental hygienist.
Devon and her husband have one son, a miniature schnauzer and cows at home. She loves spending time with family, especially when it involves going to the beach, boating, and doing outdoor activities like gardening or taking care of their Dexter Cattle. Here’s something you might not know about her: she lived in Guam for a year while her husband built a Naval Hospital!
